The Election Committee meets at 6:30 PM every 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month at the Democratic Party of Otero County Headquarters. You must be a registered Democrat to attend and participate.

Chair
Matt serves as Chair on the Election Committee, with his former career in Law Enforcement he is highly skilled in the vetting process, ensuring we find qualified Democrats to run for office. Along with this Matt has supported Democratic candidates with their campaigns, giving him an inside look of how a campaign operates and what obstacles to look out for. Knowing this, he is ready to help a candidate prepare to run for office.

Brianna Martinez
Vice-Chair
Brianna serves as Vice Chair, being the former chair of the Election Committee she understands the importance and the details in the process of vetting and supporting candidates. Brianna has worked on multiple campaigns supporting Democratic candidates, giving her a clear understanding of what is necessary to run an effective campaign. Brianna has also completed trainings relating to this area through the NDTC and the DNC equipping her with the additional knowledge needed. She is ready to put her skills to use and support Democratic candidates in Otero County.
